Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils to improve physical and emotional health, and to restore balance to the whole person. Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts and each oil has its own individual scent and healing properties. They can affect the mood, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation.
Essential oils are volatile oils extracted (by expression or distillation) from the aromatic essences of certain plants, trees, fruit, flowers, herbs, and spices. They can be used alone or blended together. Most often, I choose the appropriate oils right at the beginning of our session.
